Security
Tamper-evident by design — not by policy alone.
Controlled documents demand more than login screens. YourDocVault protects records with attribute-based access, data classification, multi-tenant isolation and cryptographic sealing — so what’s on the record stays on the record.
How we protect records
Security controls throughout the stack
Attribute-based access
Allow/deny rules scoped by security class, category, project, department and plant — deny always wins, enforcing least privilege.
Classifications & clearances
Documents are classified public → restricted; users and roles carry a maximum clearance that gates what they can open.
Multi-tenant isolation
Every organization is isolated at the database-schema level, and access is plant-aware for multi-site operations.
Tamper-evident rendering
Watermarks and copy numbers are burned into PDFs server-side, so a clean, un-watermarked source never reaches the browser.
Hash-sealed records
The audit log is hash-chained and append-only; e-signatures are sealed by database triggers and can’t be edited or deleted.
Hashed object storage
Files are SHA-256 hashed and stored in S3, served only through access-checked, gated presigned URLs.
